Happy New Year

We thought we would produce a newsletter targetted at colleagues who we have met or worked with in the past.

The aim is to let you know what we are doing and the opportunities which could involve you. If you have a particular expertise or interest in any of these areas, please let us know.

The focus of our effort has been Contract Compliance and our innovative offerings. Because our projects are confidential, we are unable to report on each project individually. However, we can talk about our general areas of activity and our future opportunities.

If any of you identify any opportunities which you feel we could be involved in, we would be happy to discuss how we can mutually benefit from developing these.

Contract Compliance Projects

We have undertaken a number of Contract Compliance projects covering offshore/ onshore services. In all these areas we have developed expertise in data manipulation and which enables us to analyse complex situations, quickly and accurately.

Our commercial offering is working well and we are currently supporting cost recovery negotiations which have already delivered direct recoveries. Like all commercial offerings, it has both benefits and risks; it is an exciting journey but not simple.We are, at last, developing mature techniques to manage the risks to the benefit of ourselves and our clients.

Internal Control

We have completed projects which automated Business Expense, and Invoice Control and Authorisation Systems. We have followed up these projects with reviews of how the systems are running after we had left the site. We are glad to report that both systems continue to operate well are well supported by the client based on the organsations that were formed as a part of our project. Both systems have enabled our clients to analyse their performance, reporting is more consistent, and in ensuring that internal control is improved substatially.

OPPORTUNITIES

We have invested in a marketing effort over the last 4 months. We have established robust sales channels and are developing a number of opportunties. We list these to see if any of you might be attracted to assisting us:

  Forensic Audits - we have a number of opportunities pending to perform forensic contractor audits.

  Project Contract Strategy - setup advice.

  ERP Implementation Project.

  Centralisation of Services Project for large multi-national.

  Development/Training of Forensic Audit internal capability.

  Overseas Opportunities to assist Australian oil operators to improve contract performanceand train their own staff in some of our techniques.
