Our Joint Venture Audits Service covers the following categories of audit:

• Direct Cost Audits - aimed at verifying the correctness of operational and/or project direct charges within Joint Venture Agreements.
• Well Audits - aimed at analysing the accuracy of Well AFE's including tangible well reconciliations including exploration activity.
• G & A Audits - aimed at verifying the fair allocation and distribution of overhead costs

• Contract Audits - aimed at testing the competitiveness and post-award management of contracts awarded on behalf of Joint Ventures.

Graham Young is our Joint Venture Audit Manager:

Graham is an experienced manager with a career of 31 years in the Oil and Gas industry. His roles during this time included Joint Venture Accounting and Auditing with Occidental Petroleum, Elf Exploration, and Total E & P UK Ltd. He has occupied senior management positions and is personally responsible for accounting for exploration, major developments and ongoing operations, as well as being audited by partners on a regular basis on these expenditures. He has a particular interest and expertise in Multi Venture Audit Committee’s (MVAC) which cover areas of common interest including but not limited to G & A, Logistics, Contracts and inventory with many of the Oil majors. He has acted as Chairman in the MVAC’s for Shell and BG and Vice Chairman for BP and Chevron as well as looking after Total’s interest’s with it’s co-venturer’s.
